What is Udyam registration in India?
We are going to witness yet an another Central Government initiative to encourage small and medium enterprises. THE MINISTRY OF MICRO SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES (MSME GOVERNMENT LOAN SCHEME 2022) set up in a way to encourage people who want to be their own owner instead of working under someone.

- Micro small and medium industries are the backbone of Indian economy operating from various parts of the country there are more than 6 crore msme’s which has a very important path in building a stronger India. These small economic engines have a huge impact on the India’s GDP
- Previously small Enterprises were asked to do SSC registration where you have to directly meet the msme official and fill a form to get register. then it lead to Udyog Aadhar, in which fake companies registered themselves in order to maintain the genuinity of the registration now UDYAM registration is in practice. this change was made from July 1 2020
CLASSIFICATION OF MSME GOVERNMENT LOAN SCHEME 2022:
In order to encourage the business fraternity of India, the central government has come up with various policies, projects and scheme, In which the businesses has been classified into Micro, small and medium Industries based on the investment made and the turnover.

- MICRO:
If the investment made in the plant machinery and equipment is not more than 1 crore and if the annual turnover is not more than 5 cross then it is said to be a micro business.
SMALL:
If the investment made in the plant machinery and equipment is not more than 10 crore and if the annual turnover is not more than 50 cross then it is said to be a small business.
MEDIUM:
If the investment made in the plant machinery and equipment is not more than 50 crore and if the annual turnover is not more than 250 cross then it is said to be a medium l business.
BENEFITS OF MSME REGISTRATION:
First priority in government tenders will be given to the companies who have done udhyam registration.
For government loans the interest rate will also be considered for those who done to the msme registration because of the document weightage.
Tax concession is also available
- Those who have done msme registration can avail free government training from both Central and state government.
- Collateral free government loans can be availed .
- Subsidy on patent registration up to 50% will be given.
- Overdraft interest rate exception will be given.
- Industrial promotion subsidy is eligible for those have done the registration
- Protection against payments delayed payments
- Lesser electricity bills for those have done themsme registration
- ISO certification charges reimbursement is available.
Eligibility for msme loan:
- Sole proprietor, private company and private companies .
- Engaged in trading /manufacturing/ service sector are eligible to apply loan under MSME scheme
- The applicant should be engaged for a period of minimum 3years in that particular business and at least 5 years of experience in business

- If you already registered in Udyog Aadhar click existing user login or if you are going to register udhyam for the first time, you need to enter you’re aadhar number and aadhar name. (UDYAM REGISTRATION)
- click validate and generate OTP enter the OTP received in your mobile and validate your mobile number.
- Select type of organisation( preparatory, partnership, cooperative )
- Enter PAN number and validate pan.
- File ITR for previous year. (if applicable)
- Enter GSTIN (if applicable)
- Enter name mobile number and mail id.
- Select category (OBC/ST/SC)
- SELECT GENDER
- Enter your unit name (add unit if any)
- Enter full unit address
- Enter office address if it is separate.
- Enter previous registration number is available
- Enter date of Incorporation, date of commencement
- Enter the bank details (Bank name/ IFSC code /bank account number)
- Major activity of the unit should be given.( manufacturing /service)
- Enter the NIC code search the keywords of your business you will get your NIC code
- Enter all the staff detail( number of person employed/ female/ Male/ other/ total)
- Enter your investment details /turnover of your business
- Select are you interested in in getting register on government e market- yes or no
- Select are you interested in in getting register on government PHEDS portal – yes or no
- Select your district industrial centre
- Submit and get final OTP
- Enter the OTP received your mobile number enter captcha
- Click final submit
- Now you are successfully registered
- Save the 12 digit reference number for further procedures.
- This is an acknowledgement that shows your been applied after verification you will receive your m s m e certificate which is very useful for your future business activities. you will receive a certificate within few days via online you can take print out of the m s m e certificate using your user id and password.
